New Spring 2017 Eyeshadow Palettes – My Wish List

If you’ve known me for any length of time, you’d know that eyeshadow palettes are my weakness. It’s still my favorite makeup to purchase and nothing gets me giddier than seeing a new combo of colors in a single palette. These are a few of the palettes I’ve been coveting online and social media. A few of them have yet to launch and I’ve noted the days that they will be available for purchase.

What are you excited about this spring? Are any of these on your wish list?

Tarte Make Yourself Believe Eyeshadow Palette

Price: $40.00

Available At: Launches on Tarte.com on March 15

Why I’m Interested – I’ve really been enjoying Tarte’s metallic/shimmer formulations. It appears as though all but one shade is metallic and I’m very much ok with that. This would be a great companion palette to any of my matte palettes. I also think the shade selection has great pops of color that still seem wearable on a day-to-day basis. The pearl shade in the middle has been listed as a highlighter, but I’m sure would also work great as an all over lid color or brow bone highlight.

Models Own Eyeshadow Palettes

Price: $17.99

Available At: Ulta

Why I’m Interested – This is a new brand launched for Ulta and one I’ve never played around with before. The Supernatural and the Vintage Rose palettes are the two that caught my eye, but there are three additional palettes available now on Ulta’s website. It also appears that this brand is going to be in stores. When I searched my zip code, the all the Models Own products are said to be in my local store. I love when you can find this locally!

Viseart Theory Eye Palettes

Price $45.00

Available at: MusePro.com on March 27

Why I’m Interested: I have one 12-pan Viseart palette (Bridal Satin) and the formulation is just incredible. I like the idea of having smaller, travel-friendly palettes and these colors are calling to me! If I had to pick just one, I lean towards the 04 Amethyst palette because I don’t have a lot of great purples right now. Plus, it has very wearable matte shades. There are three previous color-combos available for purchase now in this same format.

NYX Perfect Filter Shadow Palette

Price: $20.00

Available At: NYX.com

Why I’m Interested: These look very similar to the Avant Pop palettes which are my favorite formulation that NYX has released. Of course, the two color schemes that call to me aren’t available at Ulta, only at the NYX website. I was really hoping for a Buy 1, Get 1 50% off sale to bring down the price a little bit. $20 for a drugstore palette I’ve never tried is a little steep. I’m going to keep my eyes peeled at other retailers that run sales and see if these pop up.

Ulta Beauty Matte Neutrals Palette

Price: $20.00

Available At: Ulta

Why I’m Interested: The Ulta Beauty eyeshadows have always been hit or miss to me. But this has a 4.6 out of 5 rating on the website right now. Plus, I think they chose a really nice range of neutral, warm and cool tones. In fact, this reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay Ultimate Basics palette. And with Ulta frequently running big sales on their own brand, I know I can pick this up for less than $20.
